It is grown in the region of brazilian Sao Paulo – city and coastal state in the south of the country. This coffee owes its name to the seaport. It is cultivated at relatively low altitudes. Arabica Santos beans are very aromatic, lacking acid taste and gentian. Beans of green coffee are raw, good to roast i.e. in an oven, on a pan or to brew after mangling them in a mortar.

This coffee is known for its balanced flavour. Name of this type of coffee derives from the word “excelsior”, which means excellent. It is characterized by a slightly acidic taste of blackcurrants combined with a taste of sweet and ripe fruits, fresh green peas and aroma of dark chocolate. High content of caffeine perfectly blends with the delicate taste of the EXCELSO. Beans are raw, good to roast i.e. in an oven, on a pan or to brew after mangling them in a mortar.

It is recommended especially for those who like strong coffee and need an injection of energy.
